Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry-Level Procurement Coordinator to support our procurement operations. This role is responsible for coordinating purchase activities, expediting orders, processing supplier quotations, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProcurement CoordinationSet up new parts in ERP system.Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders based on internal requisitions.Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules.Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions in ERP systems.Order ExpeditingMonitor open orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.Resolve delays or discrepancies in order fulfillment and escalate issues as needed.Update internal teams on order status and expected delivery timelines.Quotation ManagementRequest and collect quotations from approved suppliers.Compare pricing, terms, and delivery conditions to support sourcing decisions.Maintain a database of current quotations and supplier contacts.Shipment TrackingTrack inbound shipments and coordinate with logistics providers to provide data for import/export of items.Verify delivery against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.Support inventory and warehouse teams with delivery scheduling.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare regular reports on procurement activities, order status, and supplier performance.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.Assist in maintaining supplier files and documentation for audits. QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle).Working knowledge of shipping terms, international shipping documents, HTS and global shipping process.Ability to work independently, take initiative, multitask and work in a collaborative team environment.Ability to read and interpret technical information and engineering prints.Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
