Program Manager
Akkodis is seeking a – “Associate Program Manager” for a Contract position with a client located in Carson, CA.Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).What You’ll DoThe Associate Program Manager supports the successful execution of small programs or work packages under the direction of a Program Manager or Senior Program Manager. This role assists with program coordination, schedule tracking, basic financial follow up, risk monitoring, and customer communication. The Associate Program Manager helps ensure program objectives are met in accordance with Cabin processes and contributes to continuous improvement efforts within the Program Management Office (PMO).The Associate Program Manager works closely with cross functional Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) and provides support throughout the program lifecycle.Summary of Duties:Program Support & CoordinationAssist the Program Manager in planning, organizing, and monitoring program activities.Support development and maintenance of the Program Management Plan and related documentation.Help update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and track progress on key tasks.Assist with preparing and conducting internal IPT meetings and program reviews.Support tracking of program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Financial & Scope ManagementSupport basic program financial tracking, including cost, schedule, and variance follow-up.Assist with preparing financial updates and identifying potential cost or schedule impacts.Help with scope control and documentation of changes.Risk & Opportunity AssistanceParticipate in program risk and opportunity reviews.Help maintain risk registers and support follow-up actions with IPT members.Customer & Stakeholder InterfaceHelp prepare customer-facing materials such as status reports and presentations.Support customer progress meetings as required under the direction of the Program Manager.Assist in communicating program status to internal stakeholders.Process Discipline & Continuous ImprovementSupport integration of lessons learned into ongoing program activities.Assist with implementing standard Program Management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Resource & Team CoordinationCoordinate with functional teams regarding task status, resource needs, and schedule priorities.Help align IPT activities with program objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required0–2 years of experience in project management, project coordination, engineering, or related field Basic understanding of program or project management principles.Computer Skills:Familiarity with MS Project or similar scheduling tools preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Other Skills:Strong verbal and written communication.Ability to learn and work within cross-functional teams.Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
