Growing together.Location: 10421 East County Indianapolis, IN This office is located on the border of Avon and Indianapolis, INSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:40am-5pm / No evenings, weekends, or holidays!Specialty: Family Medicine Primary Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipmentRoom patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG'sAdminister injections and collect specimensDocument patient care using NextGen electronic medical record softwareSchedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperworkAssist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office proceduresYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Graduated from an accredited MA programMedical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or you must be willing to attain that certification within 9 Mos of the start dateCPR certificationPreferred Qualifications:EMR/EHR experienceExperience with NextGen medical records softwareExperience with medical front office and back-office duties including vitals, phlebotomy, injections, casting/splinting, administering medications, referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verificationsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
