11P - 7A MED TECH / AIDE

The 11pm-7am Med Tech / Aide ~ Full-Time / Part-Time ~ will provide personal care services, assistance, support and supervision to residents. · ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS · -Arrives to work when scheduled and on time with a positive attitude. · - Provide extra attention to new residents to help with the transition. · - Assist residents with daily grooming. · - Assist residents with bathing. · - Assist residents with dressing as needed. · - Assist in the development and updating of each resident’s ADL plan. · - Do personal laundry for residents weekly or as required. · - Assure residents are in dining room for meal times. · - Monitor amount of food eaten. · - Serve residents’ meals from kitchen. · - Assist with the activity program, conduct activities as directed or assigned by supervisor. · - Assure residents get to appointments or activities. · - Provide one-on-one support/visitation to assigned residents with a patient and caring attitude. · - Encourage and/or remind residents to participate in activities. · - Encourage socialization among residents. · - Communicate all pertinent information to other staff promptly. · - Work cooperatively with other staff. · - Treat all residents with dignity and respect. · - Responding to all resident alarms within appropriate time frames. · - Responsible for obtaining and giving pager at each shift and returning at shift end. · - Treats resident and facility supplies with care. · - Dresses appropriately. · - Must have reliable transportation. · ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR MED TECH: · - Reorder medications per facility policy. · - Provide medication assistance when necessary. · - Pass medications per DOH standards. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Work Location: In person
