Software Developer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Develop and maintain software to improve aircraft runway and terminal congestion. Contribute to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) program. Work on surface collaborative decision-making, departure scheduling, and other airport decision tools. Develop designs for the user interface framework, including client and server-side components. Work in an Agile Scrum environment. Support system engineering as needed.What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in a related field. Proficiency in object-oriented design and development using C++ and Java. Experience with documented Software Development Processes. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, Subversion, or CVS. Experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems.
