Since 1972 Qualicoat Inc. has been a quality applicator of decorative and functional coatings to plastic and metal substrates. We are a leading supplier to companies in the sheet-metal, machining, computer, electronics, office equipment, medical, defense and die casting industries. Qualicoat Inc. also engages in the reconditioning of office equipment, sub-assemblies, silk screening, and pad printing.
The Process Engineer will review and interpret customer specifications to create job travelers and processes for current jobs in house per ISO work instructions.
Job Duties:
Create Job travelers and processes for current jobs in house per ISO work instruction
Check stock for all incoming jobs to be sure enough raw material is in house.
Make process changes as directed by either the customer (new revisions) or internal personnel.
Offer Technical help and/or advice to customers. Recommend processes, coatings, and tooling concepts to customers for review.
Offer technical help to employees.
Creating and maintaining Engineering files and prints per ISO work instruction
Work with suppliers to acquire raw materials and tooling that will meet customer specifications.
Skills:
Strong computer knowledge: Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) internet and e-mail is required
Preferred experience with CAD and Vista software
Extensive blueprint reading experience is a must
Successful candidates must be excellent communicators
Possess strong attention to detail
Display good business ethics
Education/Experience:
Associate degree in Manufacturing Process Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Process Engineering preferred
Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in an engineering field
LEAN manufacturing, process improvement, and 5S concepts experiences is preferred
Background check, physical and drug screen are required prior to employment.
