We have been improving the lives of individuals with autism for over 20 years!The Virtual Clinical BCBA is responsible for developing appropriate programs and behavior plans as well as supervising their implementation. The Virtual Clinical BCBA works closely with the Vice President of Clinical Operations in order to determine goals for each patient. The Virtual Clinical BCBA continually monitors teams assigned to them and each patient’s progress in order to provide the most relevant programming.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCreates and supervises implementation of new programsSupports CBI, EBI, and TABI Creates individualized behavior support plan with support from Clinical ApprenticeBilling expectations are 6 hours per day (30 per week, 120 per month – exception for months that have additional business days; in those cases, expectations adjust accordingly to 126, 132, or 138 hours per month)Monitors implementation of behavior support plan and provides feedback as necessaryConducts functional assessments and analysesCaptures and contrives opportunities to teach staff and patients in the natural environment and teaches others to do the sameParticipates in assessment processAttends and participates in parent team meetings, technician meetings, trainings and other meetings as neededProvides information about programming to parentsAttends IEP meetings as needed for the progress of the patient’s therapy goalsParticipates in research and presentation opportunities at local and national conferencesWorks collaboratively with other members of patient’s treatment team and familyCommunicates with Clinical Apprentice, Technicians, Training Manager, and Clinical Director regarding all developments, problems or concerns as neededResponds appropriately to feedbackKeeps patients safe at all timesProvides and maintains an environment free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Must be able to work on a computer as well as use various software systems. The computer’s camera must remain on at all times during paitent sessions as well as family and company meetings.Physical & Psychological DemandsThe physical & psychological demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
