Perks and how to apply below! Full Time Sales Associate Gourmet by the Bay at The Village Shoppe is an exciting new venture combining two well-known, locally owned businesses under one roof. As a result, business has increased and need additional full-time staff to work day, night, and weekend shifts. Sales associates will work to provide customers with a creative, and inspired experience. Responsibilities will include unmatched customer service, ensuring product quality, identifying/rotating/maintaining product quality; achieving sales goals; assisting with inventory control; and, helping with equipment and facility cleanliness/maintenance. Associates are an integral member of The Village Shoppe team and will be expected to uphold our community values and commitment to providing our customers with an amazing experience. Roles: -Welcomes guests, assist and provide expertise in all Departments -Creates and inspires with displays to showcase our seasonality and current products! Keeps departments neat, clean, and inventory labeled and stocked -Stocks and organizes all offerings to Village Shoppe standards -Puts away inventory in timely fashion, proper rotation of goods, handle perishable items safely, and restocking high volume items quickly -Maintains a clean workspace in between customer interactions -Handles damaged, out of date, spoiled, or returned products in department. Qualifications -Genuinely finds interest in learning and sharing knowledge of products to our community - Able to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and displays time management skills -Able to follow directions and procedures/ -Approaches new situations and people with curiosity, humility, and openness. - treats others with respect and dignity. -Thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment. -Energetic! Work with a sense of urgency and adapts to needs of the business -Able to embrace change and find more effective ways of working -Able to fulfill physical requirements of role with or without accommodations -Able to communicate in a concise clear and productive manner.
