Bartender Responsibilities BARTENDER – JOB DESCRIPTION The Bartender is responsible for verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol paring, and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. The Bartender reports directly to the Bar Manager.Duties Bartender duties will include, but are not limited to: Maintain an effective atmosphere and an effective food and beverage serviceKeep all areas of bar cleaned and always stockedWash and sterilize all glassesAccurately account for all beverages and cash out accordinglyServe all alcohol responsibly Experience/Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time, up to 10 hours at a timeAbility to cross-train and work in different departmentsAbility to obtain Liquor License and complete required server training Hours: The Bartender is either full time or part time position and hours will varySalary/IncomeThe Bartender is a non-exempt, hourly position
