Join our dedicated facilities team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and community.Position Overview:Substitute Custodians fill in during staff absences and may be called in for day or evening shifts. Assignments may vary across our school buildings and are typically scheduled during the second shift (afternoons/evenings) when school is in session.Duties Include:General cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areasTrash removal and floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.)Set-up and break-down for school events or activitiesSnow removal and grounds upkeep as neededFollowing safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a healthy school environmentRequirements:Ability to perform physical labor and operate cleaning equipmentReliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethicPrior custodial experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust pass a background checkCompensation:Hourly rate as a per diem substitute is set at $16.35 for the 2025/2026 school year.
