Cleared Software Engineer - Expert

We are looking for talented Full-Stack Software Engineers with active TS/SCI (full-scope poly) security clearance to design and implement web-based solutions for our clients.  You will work closely with stakeholders and management to gather requirements, take the lead on technical challenges, and mentor junior team members.  In this role, you should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide detailed technical analysis. Join a team of experienced engineers that love working with the latest technologies, enjoy hands-on development, and strive to build the best solutions to meet our users needs.What you will be doing:This is primarily a development role, so expect to spend the majority of your time coding or providing technical solutions with a team of engineers.Writing clean, professional code, and encouraging others to do the sameDesigning technical solutions given broadly scoped requirementsIdentifying appropriate technologies / stacks to use to meet clients needsStreamlining technical processes when necessary for automation / devopsCollaborating with other engineers on system architecture, UI/UX concerns, and other application design elementsTroubleshooting and debugging technical issuesSharing technical knowledge with other developersWhat you will not be doing:Spending your days writing user documentation, or designing powerpointsSimply installing and integrating COTS productsWorking with stagnant technologiesWriting status reports or justifying career-goal metricsTechnical Skills:10+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience in a front-end, back-end or full-stack capacityExtensive knowledge of Java, Groovy, Kotlin, or other JVM languagesExperience working with a modern front-end Javascript framework (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc)Significant experience with database systems (SQL or NoSQL)Knowledge of OO design patterns and software architectural patternsExperience with microservice frameworks (Dropwizard, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus)Experience with web-based communication elements (REST, Queues/Topics, SOAP, Websockets) Familiarity with linux operating systemsFamiliarity with AWS services and cloud deploymentsWhat youll need:Active US Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI with active poly)Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsWillingness to take on challenges and learn new thingsDesire to be at the forefront of your fieldAbility to work individually or in groupsBS/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience recblid jgcqxkci1lee2euaplzr1wd0d9o120
