About Rocli Learning Academy
Rocli Learning Academy provides individualized learning support for autistic and neurodivergent children who may not thrive in a traditional school setting. We support students through small-group learning, homeschool support, individualized instruction, guided learning, life skills, and school-readiness programs.
We are currently hiring a Part-Time Lead Learning Guide for our Jonesboro-area ABA Pod and in-home individualized learning program.
This position is ideal for someone who has experience working with autistic, neurodivergent, delayed, nonverbal, minimally verbal, or special needs children and wants to make a meaningful impact in a small, supportive setting.
Position Overview
The Jonesboro Lead Learning Guide will support students in two main settings:
ABA Pod Setting
You will work with a small group of students inside one of our partner ABA clinic locations in the Jonesboro area. These students may also receive ABA therapy during the day while Rocli provides the educational and learning support portion.
In-Home Individual Learning Support
You may also work with individual students in their homes for personalized learning sessions. These sessions may include homeschool support, academic readiness, functional learning, life skills, basic academics, and parent-guided learning goals.This is not a traditional classroom teaching position. Our students need flexibility, patience, creativity, and individualized support.
Responsibilities
The Lead Learning Guide will be responsible for:
Leading small-group learning sessions inside the Jonesboro ABA Pod
Providing one-on-one in-home learning support for students in the Jonesboro/South Atlanta area
Supporting individualized learning plans based on each child’s needs
Helping students with basic academics, school readiness, functional learning, communication support, and life skills
Adapting lessons for students who may be autistic, delayed, nonverbal, minimally verbal, or not on grade level
Creating a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Working alongside ABA therapists and clinic staff when students are receiving ABA services
Helping students build independence, attention, confidence, and social participation
Communicating student progress and concerns to Rocli leadership
Preparing simple activities, learning materials, and daily learning goals
Maintaining professionalism when working inside partner clinics and family homes
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is patient, flexible, dependable, nurturing, and confident working with children who need extra support.
This person should understand that progress may look different for every child. Some students may be working on letters, numbers, reading, or writing. Others may be working on sitting for learning time, following directions, communication, independence, matching, sorting, life skills, or basic school readiness.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience working with autistic or neurodivergent children
Experience with special education, tutoring, homeschool support, ABA, RBT work, paraprofessional work, childcare, or therapy support
Comfortable working with children who may be nonverbal, minimally verbal, delayed, or need behavioral/regulation support
Ability to support both small-group and one-on-one learning
Comfortable working inside an ABA clinic setting and in family homes
Strong communication skills with parents, clinic staff, and Rocli leadership
Reliable transportation to Jonesboro and surrounding South Atlanta areas
Dependable, professional, and organized
Able to follow individualized learning goals and adapt based on the child’s needs
A teaching certificate is helpful but not required. Experience with autistic and special needs children is highly valued.
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Hours may vary based on student enrollment and family needs.
Possible hours may include:
Weekday mornings
Early afternoons
ABA Pod learning blocks
In-home individual learning sessions
1–4 days per week depending on enrollment and availability
Work Location

Jonesboro, GA
South Atlanta surrounding areas
Rocli ABA Pod partner location in Jonesboro
Individual family homes for in-home learning support
Reliable transportation is required.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
