Our full-service team of auditing, accounting and tax professionals are able to tailor their work collectively to maximize your long-term results.Responsibilities:Managing and Supervising junior staff, as well as client relationship managing and tax research.Prepare and Review tax return work papers, Business, Individual, Trust and Not-for-Profits federal, state, and local tax returns.Analyze financial data, complex tax issues and provide customized tax planning.Quarterly and year-end estimates to assist clients with tax planning.Assist in federal and state tax matter resolution.Dedication to fostering long-term client relationships through expert tax guidance and outstanding service.Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality and application of firm and professional standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification REQUIRED.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, review, compliance, and planning.Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Experience in federal and multi-state returns is required.Knowledge of book to tax differences, 754 elections and related basis adjustments.Proficiency in tax preparation software (Lacerte experience is a plus).Knowledge of Tax Research Software (Checkpoint is a plus).Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement is a plus.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.BenefitsBenefits:Competitive salary and annual bonusBenefits Starting 1st of the month following hire date - Health insurance, Dental insurance, Life insurance, Vision insurance401(k) with match2 weeks of PTO, 1 week Personal Leave, 1 week Sick TimePaid time off and paid holidaysPaid dues and CPE expenses
