This role is a great fit for someone who loves solving complex problems, collaborating with a tight-knit team, and contributing to products that truly matter.If you’re excited about working in a fast-moving environment where your contributions have real-world impact, we’d love to meet you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality, scalable React web applications.The preferred candidate will have extensive experience with software development and software engineering principlesAct as a subject matter expert for React DevelopmentCode and test software based upon software specifications and designsAnalyze and study complex system requirementsDesign software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain software developmentUse sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerantProvide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development processRequirements5+ years of experience with single page application development, with demonstrated proficiency in component architecture and scalabilityBachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience with RESTful APIs and JSONExperience with asynchronous programming, observables, frontend data structuringExperience with application state management strategiesSolid understanding of HTML and CSS, including responsive design principles, CSS preprocessors and knowledge of UI frameworksExperience integrating with REST interfaces and SQL databasesCapable of developing front-end user interfaces and architecture following design team specificationsFamiliarity with frontend build tools and package managersStrong team player who thrives in a highly collaborative and cross-function environment with a growth mindsetDevelopment processes: source control, defect tracking, collaborative tools, code review a plusCapable of conducting peer reviewsAbility to mentor other software engineersCapable of decomposing software requirements into actionable development capabilitiesExcellent Communicator, both written and verbalQualities Of Exceptional CandidatesProven capacity to design scalable and maintainable solutions and patternsExperience with both React and AngularExperience utilizing RxJS, NgRx, Signals, or similar state and reactive solutionsExperience in analyzing and employing strategies that optimize user experience, data retrieval and storage, and performanceExperience with Scrum or another agile methodologyProficient in TypescriptAbout Sherpa 6At Sherpa 6 we love to solve problems and provide the best solutions for our customers. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications.Salary Description$105,000-$140,000
