The developer will work closely with traders and research teams to convert trading ideas into automated strategies, build backtesting frameworks, and create simulation environments for validating strategies before live deployment.Key Responsibilities Develop systems to convert trading ideas into algorithmic strategies. Build and maintain backtesting infrastructure using historical market data. Create simulation and paper trading environments. Convert research strategies (Python/MQL/pseudo code) into production-ready algo execution code Integrate strategies with broker APIs and execution systems. Process and structure large market datasets (OHLC, tick data, derivatives). Optimize algorithms for speed, latency, and performance. Implement risk checks and monitoring tools for live strategies.Required Technical Skills Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and financial data analysis. Knowledge of SQL and database management. Experience working in Linux environments. Understanding of APIs and automation systems.Trading Domain Knowledge Understanding of stock market trading. Knowledge of derivatives including options and futures. Understanding of market data structures and execution logic. Knowledge of backtesting methodology and performance metrics.
