Word Processing Operator

Job Overview · We are currently looking for individuals interested in joining the production team at our facility. Your specific job as an operator will be determined by the daily needs at the plant, and scheduling. Day-To-Day Operations Duties will primary consist of unpacking fresh fish Fillets, Rinse and Hand Curing them, operating food processing equipment (Sprayer, Smoker, Skinner, Slicer), assessing product quality, assisting in the packing of the finished product, and cleaning based on the HACCP rules. Follows GMP, EHS, HR and other company policies. Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time. Other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position, hours may vary from Monday - Friday, 6AM–5PM with some Saturdays and overtime available Qualifications · Familiarity with food processing industry is a plus. Food Handler Requiered · Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality. · Must be quality minded and self motivated · Impeccable attention to detail. · Ability to be flexible and communicate well with others. · Great organizational and analytical skills. Completion of training programs as assigned and/or required including standard of work. Please Note: Must be able to work in a cold and wet refrigerated environment for 8 hours a day Ability to work in temperatures in upper 30's range with air flow from refrigeration units. Prolonged periods of standing. Frequent hand motion. Must be able to lift to 37 pounds at times. Must be able to reach above and below shoulder height to move product. This includes the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility. Exposure to low level of noise due to close proximity to the work area. Exposure to uneven ground; floor angles toward the drainage systems. Observe and follow all safety rules. Report all incidents including near misses immediately Some of the duties are physically strenuous.
