Warehouse Associate (45319)

A well-established company in Vandalia is looking for dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This is a hands-on role in a clean, organized, and fast-paced environment.Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent, verifiable forklift experience and a valid driver's license.Job DutiesReceive, inspect, and document incoming shipmentsStore materials and maintain organized warehouse areasPick, pack, wrap, and prepare orders for shipmentSafely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipmentPerform inventory counts and accuracy auditsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentReport discrepancies or damaged goodsWork collaboratively with supervisors and team membersRequirementsRequired:1 year of recent, verifiable forklift experienceValid driver's licensePrior warehouse/shipping/receiving/inventory experienceAbility to lift and move materials safelyBasic computer or warehouse system knowledgeStrong attention to detail and time managementPreferred:Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or distributionFamiliarity with Lean or 5S practicesExperience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)International shipping documentation experiencePay Details: $19.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
