Full Stack Engineer - Node.js/React - Detroit, MI

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing AI-focused technology team building software solutions across healthcare, legal, finance, government, and other complex industries. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the stack, building scalable web applications, collaborating in a fast-paced product environment, and contributing to AI-enabled systems and workflow automation initiatives. Responsibilities:Build and maintain full-stack web applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.Develop scalable frontend interfaces and backend services using modern web technologies.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.Design, build, and support integrations with AI-enabled systems, automation tools, and internal platforms.Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, release preparation, and technical discussions.Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and development workflows.Work closely with local and remote teammates in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.Experience:3–6 years of full-stack software engineering experience.Strong frontend development experience with React.Backend development experience with Node.js and Express.Experience working with REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.Familiarity with Git, GitHub, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.Exposure to AI/ML-enabled products, workflow automation, healthcare technology, or regulated industries is preferred.Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jira, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
