Scripts is a closed door long term care pharmacy focused on servicing assisted living facilities with a majority of mental health patients.
Job Summary
As a pharmacy technician processor, you will be responsible for coordinating with patients and various departments to assist needs and ensure prescriptions can be filled and billed accurately and in a timely manner.
Schedule Details
In-Person (North Hollywood, Ca)
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm (lunch 30 minutes)
Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately type new or refill prescriptions
Ensure all orders are billed appropriately (accurate quantity per dose/dose per day)
Evaluate whether medication should be profiled or filled for up to cycle or cycle
Ensure prescriptions are discontinued when needed
Communicate using Mediprocity platform to communicate with facilities
Determine how much to send out based on cycle
Interpretation of new orders
Call other pharmacy to acquire missing information (prescriber, dose, insurance)
Call/fax doctor’s for refill authorizations
Other duties as assigned

Excellent customer service skills
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication and a team player
Education/Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
CA Pharmacy Technician License Preferred
2 year of Pharmacy Technician experience Preferred
