Electronic Assembler / Solderer
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler and Soldering Technician to contribute to our production staff. In this role, you will be tasked with the construction, soldering, evaluation, and verification of electronic units and circuit boards within a high-standard manufacturing setting.
Successful applicants will demonstrate proficiency in both surface-mount and through-hole soldering techniques, possess a sharp eye for detail, and show comfort utilizing precision instruments and microscopes to handle delicate components.
Compensation and Logistics
Rate of Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Employment Status: Full-Time | Direct Hire or Temp to Hire (based on your preference)
Work Site: Stacy, MN 55079
Shift Timing: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Core Duties
Construct electronic subassemblies and circuit boards following precise technical requirements
Utilize manual equipment to execute through-hole and SMT soldering tasks
Mount various electronic parts, wiring, and connectors
Verify the integrity and precision of finished assemblies through thorough inspection
Improve overall production reliability by troubleshooting and reworking faulty units
Interpret technical schematics and assembly documentation to guide your workflow
Help maintain consistent quality by strictly following IPC-A-610 workmanship protocols
Utilize magnification tools and precision hand instruments to ensure accurate component placement
Contribute to a safer workplace by keeping your station tidy and well-organized
Help the team reach production targets while ensuring every unit meets our high-quality benchmarks
Required Background
Completion of High school diploma or GED
Demonstrated history of working in electronics assembly and soldering
Proven ability to perform surface-mount (SMT) and/or through-hole soldering
Preference given to candidates holding J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 certifications
Exceptional fine motor control and hand-eye coordination
Capability to manipulate tiny parts while using magnification equipment
Ability to maintain high precision while executing repetitive assembly tasks
Fundamental computer literacy and documentation proficiency
Physical capacity to lift loads up to 25 pounds
Ability to remain in a seated or standing position for the duration of your shift
