DevOps Engineer

We partner with startups and Fortune 500 organizations to deliver innovative, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions through onsite and offshore delivery models.We have immediate requirement for a DevOps Engineer with our start-up clients in California, USA. The position is a long term contract and 100% remote position.The selected candidate is expected to work during PST timezone.How many part time hours per week10-20 hours per week.Initially it could be slightly more as they setup new environments.10-20 hours per week.Initially it could be slightly more as they setup new environments.Role Overview:AWS AI/ML Serving Infrastructure: Architect and deploy secure, high-availability AWS infrastructure for DEV, Stage, and PROD using IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) to host pre-trained models on AWS SageMaker Endpoints, EKS, or ECS.CI/CD & Model Deployment Pipelines: Build automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of pre-trained models, API wrappers, and containerized serving applications with zero-downtime rollouts (blue/green or canary deployments).Multi-Environment Isolation & IAM: Establish strict DEV, Stage, and PROD environment separation using AWS Organizations, multi-VPC architecture, and precise IAM policies to secure API access and sensitive production data.API Gateway & Data Routing: Set up high-throughput API Gateways, load balancers, and vector/relational databases (e.g., OpenSearch, Aurora, Pinecone) optimized for real-time inference requests and low-latency payload processing.Inference Observability & Cost Control: Implement real-time monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, Datadog) for API latency, throughput, and system health, while optimizing AWS compute costs using GPU/CPU auto-scaling and Spot instances.AI/ML Engineering Collaboration: Partner with ML/Software Engineers to standardize containerization (Docker), version control for pre-trained model artifacts (S3/ECR), and prompt/response telemetry workflows.Drishticon is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
