WorthShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The sports rehab physical therapist will have the education, knowledge and skill to provide out-patient services, focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function and to prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness and injury. Evaluation, treatment and home programming are provided for children/adolescents with orthopedic injuries/diagnoses and sports medicine related issues. The position shall include patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals, clinics and agencies, both within Cook Childrens Health Care System and within the community. The sports rehab physical therapist will also be expected to participate in school-based sports medicine physicals and/or injury prevention education and screening.
