We are building a network of qualified talent for general consideration of future full time or temporary Business Analyst job openings.GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts located in Orlando, Florida. The Business Analyst plays an integral role from concept to closure of high profile projects. The Business Analyst focuses on gathering, understanding, analyzing and managing business requirements, and converting them into useable system specifications and communicate those so that IT team members can have a clear understanding of the business need. The Business Analyst strives in providing more detailed project objectives; business needs, business analysis; structured, clear, useable requirements; requirement feasibility and risk analysis; tradeoff analysis; and cost-benefit analysis.Act as liaison between business stakeholders and delivery team to ensure viable solutions are deliveredUnderstand needs of multiple stakeholders and facilitate negotiation into one project scopeBuild business relationships both across the enterprise and within the technology teamIdentify current and future state business processes and become subject matter expertLead design/requirements review meetings.Assist with daily stand-ups, grooming sessions and other Scrum ceremonies with the delivery teamFollow PMO best practices and create necessary artifacts for project facilitationTranslate requirements into functional documents such as RFP, use cases and wire frames to help the business envision the future state and define scopeParticipate in system deployments and providing hands-on support during hypercare periodsEvaluate vendors and help ensure their solutions are viable for successful in deploymentsDevelop system test plans, objectives, and cases/scripts and participate in testing activities (when needed)Track issues, risks and action items to resolutionAssist in triaging support issues and participate in system outage resolutionsParticipate in on-call rotations, triaging after-hours or weekend issues, assessing severity and impact, and coordinating with leadership for resolutionManage a list of enhancements and help facilitate improvements to existing solutionsQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Business Analyst roleBachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or 3 years progressive work experienceMust be detailed oriented with excellent problem solving skillsMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust be proficient with the Microsoft products (Visio, SharePoint, Office, OneNote)Previous hospitality or theme park experience is desirableSkills & Key Competencies:Strong experience in requirements elicitation and analysisProficiency in creating use cases, user stories, and test case identificationExcellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, teams, and leadershipKnowledge of deployment processes, change management, and release planningExperience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and addressing business queriesAbility to create and maintain detailed project documentationFamiliarity with Scrum methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremoniesStrong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and production issue triageExperience with continuous improvement processes and gap analysisProficient in tools for project management, documentation, and communicationGLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
