Paralegal - Commercial Contracts

The Paralegal - Commercial Contracts supports the legal team in drafting, reviewing, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts. This role requires the ability to contribute with minimal supervision, manage a high volume of work, and apply sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and revise commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS agreements, vendor and supplier agreements, customer contracts, purchase agreements, leases, service agreements, licensing agreements, and amendmentsPrepare first drafts using templates and playbooks; identify and escalate non-standard termsReview contracts against established guidelines and flag legal and business risksManage contract lifecycle in CLM system (e.g., LinkSquares), including intake, tracking, execution, and storageCoordinate internal approvals and signatures, including use of e-signature toolsMaintain and update templates, clause libraries, and contract recordsCommunicate with internal stakeholders (procurement, sales, finance, operations) to gather information and resolve issuesSupport high-volume contract workflows and assist in reducing backlogAssist with due diligence, audits, and reporting, including extracting data from CLM systemsSupport compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate3+ years of experience supporting commercial contracts in a law firm or in-house legal departmentExperience with a range of agreements, including SaaS agreements, purchase agreements, and leasesHands-on experience with contract lifecycle management systems (LinkSquares preferred)Strong familiarity with common commercial contract terms and structuresProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred QualificationsExperience in a corporate legal departmentExperience administering or optimizing CLM systems (e.g., LinkSquares)Working knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR)Skills And CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesClear and effective written and verbal communicationPractical, business-oriented approach to legal supportHigh level of professionalism and discretionSuccess FactorsAble to independently handle routine agreements within a short ramp-up periodConsistently applies templates and playbooks with minimal rework requiredContributes to improved contract turnaround times and reduced backlogAbout ServcoAt Servco, we’re committed to providing valuable mobility solutions to empower people through the freedom of movement and opportunity.
