What You'll Do:Analyze specificationsReview job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds. Program CNC machinesCreate and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency. CNC setup & calibrationSet up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production. Trial runs & adjustmentsPerform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. Safety & cleanlinessFollow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Cross-departmental supportAssist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations. What You'll Bring:EducationHigh School Diploma or GED. ExperienceAt least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills. CAM softwareExperience with CAM software preferred. Technical knowledgeStrong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes. Mathematics & communicationSolid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details. Problem-solving & teamworkStrong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Physical requirementsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
