We are actively recruiting for Boilermakers to support our various project sites across the US.A Welder is responsible for fusing pieces of metal together to join metal parts, fill a hole, or fix seams in metal. Their duties include finding the correct tools to properly ignite the torch and welding machine for the specific type of metal, positioning, lining up, and securing all metal pieces according to design specifications prior to welding, and joining these pieces together.What You'll Do Here:Maintains a safe and clean work environmentFollows all safety and quality program expectationsLoads and unloads equipment and materialsUses hand and power tools and heavy machineryReads and follows construction field work packagesAdheres to all applicable company and client policies and procedureAdheres to all applicable laws regulations and guidelinesWhat You Bring to the Team:High school diploma or equivalent experience is requiredFollows written and verbal instructionsWorks well at heights and in confined spacesCollaborates with coworkers and has strong interpersonal skillsLearns quickly and has strong math, problem solving and critical thinking skillsMust be comfortable working in Radiological Work Areas (Nuclear work only)Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending and lifting at least 50 poundsMust be able to be hold and maintain a Security Clearance at US Nuclear facility(Nuclear work only)Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screeningMust be able to pass company or customer required weld testAecon fosters belonging within and across our organization.
