Blended Berry Nut Butter Maker
We are looking for fun, laid back people who enjoy working with food in a fast paced open environment. Every employee should embody The Blended Berry standards: Good Vibes Only, Customer service, Initiative, Work Efficiently, Cleaning & Sanitation. The Nut Butter Maker ideally would be familiar with food processing equipment, measurements (tablespoons, teaspoons, cups, etc), following a recipe, as well as being familiar/know their way around a kitchen.
Nut Butter Maker duties include:
Making of peanut butter and filling enough tubs and squeeze bottles to ensure we have enough peanut butter until your next shift/can make more
Making of Almond Butter
Execute proper portion control with all ingredients/recipes
Quality control on all nut butters to ensure product is up to Blended Berry Standards
Maintaining nut butter station cleanliness/clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to The Blended Berry standard
Dishwashing of food processors once done for the day, utensils, etc.
Nut Butter Maker Requirements
Good time management/planning skills
Ability to work with little supervision
Dependable
A positive attitude
Work well under pressure/sense of urgency at times
Flexible schedule
Basic math skills
Ability to handle minimal physical labor/ability to lift upwards of 40 LBS
Able to handle extended periods of standing
Adaptable and work well as a team
Ability to multi-task
Previous restaurant or kitchen work experience is a plus
Nut Butter Maker Ideal Schedule
The ideal schedule for the Nut Butter Maker would be about every other day
Right now Peanut Butter is made Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
This schedule can be flexible but with the way we deplete the peanut butter, it is basically an every other day schedule and 2 days heading into/during the weekend (could be Fri/Sat or Fri/Sun)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
