Audiologist (M) (Fulltime) Audiology

Together, we keep getting better - advancing our mission to transform healthcare and serve as a leader of positive change.   This position is responsible for the evaluation of persons having hearing/balance disorders, for providing aural rehabilitation and other duties as assigned. The incumbent also performs other professional duties and participates in department/facility initiatives based on needs and opportunity. Responsibilties: A day in the life of an Audiologist at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:   Evaluates patients according to department policies/procedures and follows standards of practice. Validates and verifies fitting, orients patient and/or family, with personal amplification and listening systems, discusses communication strategies, and provides post-fitting counseling. Plans and implements aural habilitation/rehabilitation programs. Takes earmold impression and selects earmold, personal amplification, and/or assistive listening devices post evaluation. Documentation is in accordance with policies and procedures. Utilizes equipment effectively to complete the evaluation process. Communicates any equipment issue to responsible personnel. Handles equipment with care leaving the test site in order for the next evaluation. Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Master or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Audiology. Entry level considered based on staffing ratios Computer skills: word, excel, powerpoint   Audiology License.  Certificate of Clinical Competence - Audiology.
