Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with strong neuro experience and Level I trauma background for a specialty OR unit at an acute care hospital in Fargo, ND.Job Details• Acute care hospital setting with 25 OR suites averaging 75-100 cases per day,• Specialty OR unit with a primary focus on neuro cases, with additional case types including orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general, and some trauma,• Level I trauma center,• Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM; no weekends or call required,• Candidates may be asked to stay late as needed as an extension of the regular shift, not as on-call,• EMR: Epic,• Orthopedic systems in use include Zimmer, DePuy, Biomet, and Stryker total replacement systems,• 13-week assignment,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience required,• Strong neuro surgical experience required,• Experience in a large, busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR suites required,• Level I trauma center experience required,• Robotic surgery experience required,• Experience with at least one of the following orthopedic systems: Zimmer, DePuy, Biomet, or Stryker,• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,• Must be listed on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start date; proof of application initiation required within 3 business days of offer acceptance,• License required if applicable,• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,• 2 professional references required - one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years,Additional Information• Perform surgical and OR duties to assist the surgeon and care team in delivering effective surgical care across a range of specialty cases,• Assist with neuro as the primary specialty, as well as orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general surgery, and some trauma cases,• Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must disclose this, and their most recent end date must be at least 6 months prior to the submission date,• Candidates living between 60 and 80 miles from the facility may be considered but are subject to a reduced travel pay rate,• Scrubs are provided by the facility in ceil blue,
