About The TeamACCEL Schools is seeking highly-qualified Virtual Occupational Therapists for our upcoming 2026-2027 school year! ACCEL Schools is a K-12 public charter school management organization (CMO) serving students across the United States in brick-and-mortar, virtual, and hybrid school settings. We focus on improving academic outcomes of students regardless of geographic location or socioeconomic factors.The Occupational Therapist works with the school staff to coordinate and deliver Occupational Therapy services for qualifying students.Applicants in Colorado, California, New York, and Washington State are not eligible for this position**About The OpportunityProvide high-quality online Occupational therapy services to students according to the student’s IEPsConduct OT evaluations and reevaluations as determined by the Special Education departmentConsult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participationDevelopment, monitor, and report on goals; determine needs, design interventions utilizing research-based best practicesProvide clear clinical documentation that supports progress and growth of students towards their documented goalsParticipate in IEP meetings and other meetings as neededAdequately complete, in a timely manner, all paperwork for the District and the StateModel professionalism in all situations maintaining confidentiality and privacyContinually develop professional growth in areas related to OTFollow all school policies and proceduresParticipating in training and meetings as neededAbout YouState issued Occupational Therapist license is required, willingness to become certified in additional statesProficiency with computers and online documentation skillsAbility to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentialityDemonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethicAbility to manage difficult or emotional client situationsAbility to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicatedDemonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department, self and / or company welfareDemonstrated leadership and management abilityExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks to meet deadlines consistentlyAbility to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and from more senior team membersAbility to work independently and contribute to a teamAbility to pass federal and state criminal background checksAbout Us“We believe that every child should be able to be anything they want in life, regardless of their birthplace and circumstances.” – Ron Packard, CEO & FounderACCEL Schools is a network of 80+ high-performing, public charter schools serving PK-12 students. The annual starting salary for this position is between $60,000 – $70,000 annually.
