Job DescriptionPhysical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,200/wkLocation: Atrium Health Floyd, Rome, GADepartment: Physical Therapy & RehabilitationJob Type: Travel PositionScheduleFull-Time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday Two days: 9 AM - 6 PM Three days: 8 AM - 5 PM Contract Length13 weeks Start Date: July 1, 2024 End Date: September 28, 2024 Job Summary: Atrium Health Floyd is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for our outpatient rehabilitation center in Rome, GA. The successful candidate will evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy programs aimed at restoring function, preventing disability, and enhancing physical abilities.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures Administer contrast media as needed Maintain and interpret patient records and medical history Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and clinical staff Operate and maintain radiographic equipment Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Technicians/Aides as required Ensure proper patient care and safety protocols QualificationsBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program State license in Physical Therapy or Compact License if applicable Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient setting Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally Capable of transferring patients up to 100 pounds Must demonstrate physical exercises and activities to patients/caregivers Exposure to various physical conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments SkillsProficient in therapy techniques and procedures Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with patient documentation and records management Why Join Us?Competitive pay and benefits Opportunity to work in a supportive, dynamic team environment Enhance your skills in a leading healthcare facility
