Additional licensure areas are a positive.Preferred candidates will possess:A strong background in a variety of visual art media (e.g. drawing, painting ceramics, photography, etc.)Experience with aligning curriculum and assessments to the state standardsSkills in differentiating instruction and strong classroom managementCooperative professional approach to teaching and learningWillingness to work as part of a highly collaborative teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong technology and organization skillsStrong classroom and behavior managementMultiple strategies used to ensure all learners achieve at the highest levelsExperience with Professional Learning Communities (PLC), and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)Belief that all students can achieve at high levels and meet high expectationsSalary: $46,466-$80,386, depending upon experience and education.
