Thermo Systems is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Intern to support ongoing building automation and controls projects within mission critical/data center environments.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for Skill Bridge Candidate, students, or individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in:
Building Management Systems (BMS)
HVAC controls
Electrical and controls troubleshooting
Commissioning and startup activities
Construction and industrial automation environments
Responsibilities
Assist Controls Technicians and Project Teams with installation, checkout, and startup activities
Support point-to-point verification and system testing
Help troubleshoot control panels, sensors, and field devices
Assist with documentation, redlines, and project closeout activities
Participate in field walks, coordination meetings, and safety activities
Learn BMS software platforms, graphics, and system integration concepts
Support commissioning and operational readiness activities
Preferred Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in:
Electrical Technology
HVAC
Instrumentation & Controls
Mechatronics
Engineering Technology
Industrial Systems
Or related technical field
Basic understanding of electrical systems and hand tools
Strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced field environment
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Familiarity with HVAC systems or controls
Exposure to electrical diagrams or schematics
OSHA 10 certification
Experience with Microsoft Office
