Sr. Manager, Business Development - PMO & Transmission & Substation Services - WestMust be located in Western, USA* Step into a high‑visibility Business Development role where your utility expertise directly shapes growth across the western U.S. At ENTRUST Solutions Group, you’ll be the trusted connector between electric transmission and substation clients and our technical teams—driving strategy, uncovering new opportunities, and expanding key accounts. You’ll leverage market intelligence, lead client presentations and Lunch & Learns, represent ENTRUST at industry events, and support winning RFP responses. This role is ideal for a utility professional who thrives on relationship‑building, understands transmission and substation programs, and enjoys autonomy, travel, and influence. If you’re ready to grow revenue while helping utilities modernize critical infrastructure, this is your seat at the table.What You’ll Do Research and compile field market intelligence such as competitive information and market or industry trends to leverage in client pursuits Develop and nurture new business opportunities, while calling on existing accounts to support operations teams in diversifying account revenues Provide electric capabilities presentations, demonstrations “Lunch and Learns” and attend industry tradeshows to cultivate opportunities Develop and maintain quality relationships with clients, and participate in preparationof responses to RFP’s CRM Input and maintenance to measure sales pipeline, sales revenue, client touchpoints, and adherence to overall revenue targetsRequired Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in the Utility industry preferred in Business Development, Engineering, or Project Management capacities. Strong relationships & experience with electric Transmission & Substation with west and western states electric utilities Familiarity with Project Management/PMO structures and services within utilities; Familiarity with Transmission Line and Substation projects Prior experience working in utilities or engineering services firms Ability and desire to travel 3 to 4 times a month (50-70% Travel) as neededPreferred Qualifications Engineering Degree; P.E. and/or P.M.P. certification Ability to work independently across business functions in remote office setting Collaborative approach to problem solving Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present in front of a diverse group of stakeholders, up to and including c-suite executives.Not quite right for you?
