Billing AssistantThe Billing Assistant position is within Prolink's Finance department and partners with key stakeholders to support billing activities.ResponsibilitiesMaintain master time entry workbook weekly by marking notes appropriately to facilitate the removal of stale data from the workbook and to ensure existing travelers are updated with time entry details and new travelers are addedEnsure master time entry workbook is reviewed every week to identify any time that requires additional follow up for time entry and/or identify entries that will not need time entered for that week, and mark appropriately in the VMSEnsure that missing documentation is added to the missing timesheet request log and work across multiple departments to assist in backup collection as neededCommunicate across multiple departments when traveler orders are not set up and/or need revisionsAssist with time approvals as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirements1+ years of experience in billing, timekeeping, payroll support, accounting support, or administrative operationsStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:Pivot tablesVLOOKUP/XLOOKUPData filtering and reconciliationBasic reportingStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and follow through to resolutionExcellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teamsComfortable handling confidential financial and employee informationAbility to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with accounting, operations, payroll, and staffing teamsComfortable with repetitive but high-accuracy workTech-savvy and quick to learn systemsReliable with deadlines
