Job SummaryAs a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer at Mercury Systems, you will serve as a senior technical leader providing strategic direction and oversight to board-level hardware development across multiple programs. At Mercury, we work with an Integrator Mindset, leading collaboration across sites and disciplines to create breakthrough board-level solutions that directly impact our country's security.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic technical leadership and direction for board-level hardware development across new and ongoing programsArchitect innovative circuit board solutions for advanced secure processing, data storage, signal processing, DRFM, display, and extreme environment systemsDesign using cutting-edge technology including 400G+ Ethernet, PCIe Gen 5+, DDR5+ SDRAM, advanced fiber optics and video interfacesChampion design quality culture across programs through comprehensive reviews and proactive verificationLead strategic initiatives to advance board Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) across the organizationLead proposal development including system architecting, technical volume writing, and providing detailed BOEProvide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers at multiple levelsRequired QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Master's strongly preferred)Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering product development experience in board-level hardware design from concept to productionExtensive experience designing highly complex embedded digital hardware products from concept to completionProven track record of technical leadership on complex programsExperience developing advanced high-performance digital hardware, including next-generation interfaces, memory technologies, and high-speed interconnect architecturesExpert-level understanding of signal integrity for very high-speed digital board designSignificant experience leading proposals, developing schedule/cost estimates, and providing BOE at the program levelThis position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. See job id #26-377., Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position $115,700.00 - $208,300.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees $129,600.00 - $233,300.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA $136,500.00 - $245,800.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ, Mercury considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including: * the role and related responsibilities; * prior work experience; * education, training, skills and certifications; * internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles; * geographic location; and * alignment with market data.
