Inventory Team LeadReports to: Inventory ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptDepartment: Operations / InventoryLocation: Tempe, AZPay Rate: $17.50/hourPosition Summary:The Inventory Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, executing stock audits, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This position requires high attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, experience in inventory or logistics, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance within all inventory-related processes.Responsibilities:Inventory ManagementConduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracyMaintain accurate digital inventory records using internal software systemsMonitor inventory levels and identify low stock or overstocked itemsReceive, inspect, and record incoming shipmentsPrepare, label, and organize outgoing shipmentsProcess & OperationsOrganize inventory storage areas to meet company standardsCollaborate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to support daily operationsImplement and follow inventory control procedures and best practicesIdentify discrepancies and support root cause resolutionAssist with barcoding, labeling, and tagging of productsCompliance & Team SupportEnsure compliance with state cannabis regulations in all inventory handling processesAssist in cross-departmental coordination to resolve inventory-related issuesProvide leadership and support to inventory team members during shiftsModel safe, accurate, and compliant handling practicesSupervisory Responsibilities: May lead small teams during shiftsSupport training and onboarding of new inventory staffEnsure adherence to SOPs and compliance procedures during team tasksQualifications: 1+ year of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stockroom environmentsCannabis industry experience preferredFamiliarity with inventory software and data entry systemsStrong math and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift 25+ pounds and stand for full shiftsMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in accordance with state lawMust be able to pass a background check and fingerprint clearanceEqual Opportunity Employer Statement: Mint Cannabis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
