We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, secure, and deploy containerized microservices in a classified environment supporting mission-critical systems. This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for an engineer passionate about cloud architecture, security, and automation.The ideal candidate will support FedRAMP readiness, authorization, and compliance activities, helping ensure systems are architected and implemented in alignment with federal security requirements from the ground up. This role will also help strengthen a DevSecOps culture by integrating best practices into existing engineering workflows.This position requires the eligibility to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance and is on-site in Maynard, MA.What You'll Do:Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of CI/CD pipelinesSupport deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of containerized applicationsBuild and maintain secure, scalable cloud-based infrastructure and servicesManage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and toolsIdentify, assess, and remediate security risks across systems, applications, and workflowsMonitor system health, reliability, and performance, recommending improvements where neededDocument tools, processes, architectures, and best practices to support operational excellenceCollaborate with engineering and security teams to support FedRAMP and broader compliance initiativesWhat You'll Bring:Active Secret Clearance is highly preferred; US Citizenship is requiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related rolesHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environmentsProficiency in scripting or programming languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with security scanning tools (Trivy)Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks and standards including NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and Zero Trust architecturesExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and GrafanaStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skillsNice to Have:Experience supporting space systems, missile defense, or aerospace programsFamiliarity with DoD DevSecOps reference architectures and ecosystemsProfessional Cloud Architect certificationsExperience with hybrid networking environments and enterprise-grade container orchestration platformsFishEye Software is proud to be recognized as one of the Boston Globe's Top Places to Work 2025. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates.This position requires eligibility to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
