Software Engineering Technical Lead

Overview In this role you lead a small offshore team to shape the SDP platform's patterns and architecture, enabling feature development and bug resolution. You establish best practices and a robust technical foundation that the squad builds upon. You will guide requirements, design data schemas, and oversee implementation with a microservices focus. You collaborate across disciplines to drive scalable, reliable software while mentoring engineers and documenting technical decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong impact on platform quality and delivery. ResponsibilitiesImplement applications using microservices architecturePerform code reviewsCoordinate team work tasksLead requirements analysis and system architecture, including building data base schemas and selecting development approachesTechnical specification and task estimationPerform Scrum ceremonies (planning, retrospective, etc.)Mentor team membersPrepare technical documentation Key requirementsSeven or more years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on APIs and system integrationExperience with front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end technologies (Java 8+, Spring Boot/Security, Hibernate (JPA), SQL, REST)Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of portal software, design, and developmentExperience working with or leading offshore Software DevelopersStrong technical documentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsOrganizational skills and prioritizationAbility to work independently and in a teamMicroservices architectureAPIs and system integrationJava (8+), Spring (Boot, Security), Hibernate (JPA)
