General Manager 5 - Food
Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead food service operations across two hospital campuses at Piedmont Macon in Macon, Georgia. This role serves as the senior on-site leader, responsible for driving operational excellence, team leadership, and financial performance in a healthcare environment.
This individual will act as Director of Food & Nutritional Services responsible for meal delivery of 700 daily patient meals at two sites. The main campus consists of 280 bed acute care facility. This position will oversee over 60 Sodexo employees and 11 management positions between two locations.
What You'll Do
working with unit financial/budgets,
strategic planning,
HR functions,
training and development of both a management and hourly staff,
ensuring HACCP compliance,
direct client interaction and supervision of 5 Sodexo managers and 55 union hourly client employees.

What You Bring
Experience managing large scale food operations in a complex, multi-retail environment.
Driving client engagement and patient/employee satisfaction.
Possesses exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and client relations skills with the ability to work both horizontally & vertical in the organization.
Strong Financial acumen with demonstrated success handling complex financial contract.
Highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and pro-activelyaddress operational and client needs.
Proven ability to develop and motivate a team in a complex environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
