Location: Grass Valley, CAPosition Type: Locum Physician OBGYN Overview A hospital in Grass Valley is seeking OBGYN physicians for weekend call coverage. The role includes deliveries, C-sections, and emergency call for OBGYN cases. This position supports a dedicated Family Birthing Center with its own C-section OR. Practice Highlights • Weekend call coverage with urgent dates starting December• Average deliveries per month (may go up to 40)• Duties include deliveries, C-sections, and ED call• Work on a dedicated L&D floor with its own operating room• EMR: Cerner• Strong support team: anesthesiology, pediatrics, general surgery, RTs, and local OBGYNs Candidate Requirements • Board Certified or BE OBGYN (within 5 years)• Active CA medical license Required• DEA required during credentialing• Must provide recent case logs (24 months)• Must meet experience requirements for deliveries and GYN procedures• Clean malpractice preferred• Must be available at time of name clear Schedule & Coverage • Weekend call coverage 24-hour shifts• Urgent dates include:Dec Jan 5 11, Jan , Jan Feb , Feb March • Average callback: 4 6 hours• Credentialing: Minimum 10 days with complete application• Proctoring applies for new privileges (deliveries & GYN cases) Why Grass Valley, CA?
