Outsourcing is not just a method of gaining a one-time cost advantage, but an effective strategy for gaining and maintaining competitive advantages when executed as part of an overall sourcing strategy.NTT DATA' Client is seeking a SAP Basis LeadLead end-to-end SAP Basis activities across full lifecycle implementations (Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run) for Greenfield S/4HANA programsDefine and execute landscape/environment strategy (DEV, QA, PRE-PROD, PROD) aligned with global rollout wavesDesign and manage client strategy (client copies, logical system setup, client roles)Establish and govern transport management strategy (CTS/ChaRM), ensuring controlled and compliant movement across landscapesCoordinate global rollout planning, including regional deployments, cutover planning, and hypercare supportOversee Basis support for SAP cloud integrations (Ariba, SuccessFactors, IBP, SAC), ensuring connectivity and stabilityImplement and maintain SSO (Single Sign-On) and Active Directory integrations, including user provisioning and authentication mechanismsMonitor system health, performance tuning, and capacity planning for S/4HANA environmentsLead system installation, upgrades, patches, and kernel updatesManage incident, change, and problem tickets using Jira; ensure SLA adherence and proper documentationCollaborate with functional, security, and infrastructure teams for cross-stream dependenciesEnsure compliance with security, audit, and governance standardsDrive automation initiatives for system monitoring, deployments, and housekeeping tasksProvide technical leadership, mentoring junior Basis consultants, and guiding best practicesBasic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)Core SAP Basis Expertise10+ years of SAP Basis experience, including multiple end-to-end S/4HANA Greenfield implementationsStrong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture, installation, system refreshes, and upgradesDeep understanding of SAP landscape design and environment strategyStrategy & ArchitectureProven experience defining:Landscape/Environment Strategy (multi-tier global landscapes)Client Strategy (multi-client vs single-client approaches)Transport Strategy (CTS+, ChaRM, retrofit strategies)Experience in global rollout models (template-based deployments, localization handling)Cloud & Integration ExperienceHands-on experience integrating SAP with:SAP AribaSAP SuccessFactorsSAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning)SAP SAC (Analytics Cloud)Knowledge of SAP BTP / Cloud Connector / CPI integrations is highly desirableSecurity & Identity ManagementStrong experience in SSO setup (SAML, OAuth, Kerberos)Integration with Active Directory (AD) for authentication and user provisioningUnderstanding of SAP authorization concepts and GRC integrationTools & OperationsExperience with Jira for incident, problem, and change trackingFamiliarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworksExperience with monitoring tools (Solution Manager, Focused Run, or third-party tools)Leadership & Soft SkillsProven ability to lead global teams and coordinate across time zonesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to work in high-pressure environments during go-lives and cutoversMentoring and team development experienceTravel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 80%.
