Position: Assistant Director of Nursing Skilled Nursing Unit Pay Range: $85,000$96,500 Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum two years' experience in geriatric nursing and/or a BSN At least two years of nursing administration experience, preferably in long-term care Prior management experience required Some on-call responsibilities expected Essential Responsibilities Provide supervision of direct nursing care within the Skilled Nursing Unit Deliver direct nursing care when advanced care is required Conduct routine rounds to ensure proper care and a safe, clean environment Ensure accurate and complete medical records Coordinate, conduct, and document MDS and resident care plans when the MDS nurse is unavailable Supervise nursing personnel across all shifts, including staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and performance evaluations Assist with onboarding and training of nursing personnel Participate in resident and family counseling Respond to emergency situations as needed Serve as Acting Director of Nursing in the DON's absence Maintain clear communication across shifts and departments regarding resident care Galleria Woods is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
