Frontend Software Engineer – AI Platform (React / Next.js) *Location:* Irvine, CA *Position:* Full-Time / Part-Time *Industry:* AI / SaaS / Digital Media About the Role We are building an *all-in-one AI animation and short-drama creation platform* based on our existing AI content production business. The platform is designed to bring the entire AI content creation workflow into one place, including: *Scriptwriting → Character Creation → Storyboarding → Image & Video Generation → AI Voice → Editing & Production* Our platform is already being tested and validated by real content production teams. As the product grows, we plan to expand across *Web, Desktop, and Mobile applications*. We are looking for a strong *Frontend Software Engineer* who can help us build the product from the ground up and take ownership of major product features. This is not simply a UI implementation role. You will be directly involved in product architecture, user experience, AI workflow integration, and technical decision-making. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain the core frontend of our AI animation creation platform * Participate in technical architecture and product development from *0 to 1* * Build complex interactive workflows for AI content creation * Develop features including project management, character management, asset management, storyboards, generation tasks, and creative workflows * Integrate frontend applications with AI model APIs and backend services * Handle real-time AI generation progress, task status, errors, retries, and user feedback * Build reusable and scalable frontend components * Optimize application performance and maintainability * Work closely with product owners and real AI content production teams * Turn real user feedback into product improvements * Participate in future development across *Web, Desktop, and Mobile* * Research and evaluate new AI technologies that could improve the platform Required Technical Skills * Strong experience with *React* * Strong experience with *Next.js* * Strong experience with *TypeScript* * Experience building and launching complete production-level web applications * Strong understanding of frontend state management and component architecture * Experience integrating REST APIs, third-party APIs, or backend services * Good understanding of frontend engineering, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainable code * Ability to independently own and deliver complete product features rather than only implementing UI designs * Strong interest in AI products * Experience integrating third-party AI APIs or working on AI-related projects Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is a strong plus: * *Electron* for desktop application development * *React Native / Expo* for mobile application development * *Node.js* or backend development * *FFmpeg* * *ComfyUI* * AI image generation * AI video generation * AI voice / audio generation * Generative AI APIs * Editors, timelines, Canvas, drag-and-drop systems, or other complex creative tools * SaaS products * AI creation tools * Large-scale web applications What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: * Has strong frontend engineering fundamentals * Can independently take ownership of major product modules * Thinks about the product, not just the code * Can identify UX and technical problems proactively * Can propose and implement practical solutions * Is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment * Is willing to remain hands-on with development * Can continuously iterate based on real user feedback * Has experience launching and maintaining real-world products We value *real technical ability and product experience* more than credentials alone.
