Warehouse Manager
Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations within an electronics manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, safe handling of electronic components, timely material flow to production, and compliance with quality, ESD, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, process discipline, and experience managing high-value, sensitive electronic inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping of electronic components and finished goods
Ensure uninterrupted material flow to production lines in accordance with manufacturing schedules
Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency, safety, and ESD compliance
Inventory Control & Accuracy
Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems
Implement cycle counting programs and lead physical inventory audits
Manage lot control, serial number tracking, and component traceability
Quality & Compliance
Enforce ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures and material storage standards
Ensure compliance with ISO, IPC, RoHS, and company quality requirements
Coordinate with Quality and Engineering teams on non-conforming material and corrective actions
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including material handlers and supervisors
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and drive continuous improvement
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
Logistics & Coordination
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, freight carriers, and 3PL partners
Collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, and Production teams to align inventory levels with demand
Monitor and control warehouse operating costs and labor efficiency
Safety & Continuous Improvement
Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Identify process improvements using Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing
Strong knowledge of ESD controls, inventory management, and material traceability
Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Preferred
Experience in high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing
Lean / Six Sigma certification
Forklift certification and familiarity with automated material handling systems
