We are seeking a Full-Time Traveling Dental Assistant to support three well-established, modern practices in East Village, Midtown, and the Upper West Side. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced dentists, hygienists, and support teams while helping keep clinical flow efficient, organized, and patient-centered. Competitive Compensation: $27/hour Stable Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM Career Development: Continuing education opportunities, mentorship, and hands-on learning in a multi-specialty environment Supportive Team Culture: Work alongside experienced clinical and administrative teams who value collaboration and professionalism Modern Practices: Digital charting, advanced imaging, and technology-forward offices designed for efficient, high-quality care Manhattan Variety: Enjoy the energy of working across three respected locations in East Village, Midtown, and the Upper West Side   Locations & Practice Highlights East Village Dental Center  55 Avenue C, New York, NY 10009 Modern Manhattan practice with digital charting, 6 operatories, and a strong patient following 286 Madison Dental  286 Madison Avenue, Suite 500, New York, NY 10017 Convenient Midtown location with a multi-specialty environment and modern clinical workflows Concerned Dental Care of the Upper West Side  657 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10025 9 operatories, digital charting, and a patient-centered, technology-forward setting   Your Responsibilities Escort patients to operatories and help create a welcoming, professional experience  Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for efficient chairside care  Assist dentists, hygienists, and fellow assistants during exams and procedures  Take and process dental x-rays  Maintain and update patient dental records  Support sterilization duties and maintain instruments and handpieces  Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety standards at all times  Assist with appointment confirmations, patient payments, scheduling, insurance-related paperwork, and front office support when needed  Help maintain organized, clean, and efficient clinical spaces  Travel between assigned Manhattan locations and support daily workflow as needed    What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required  Diploma or certificate from a CODA-accredited dental assisting program preferred  Current Dental Assistant licensure/certification as applicable  Dental software knowledge required  Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting  Professional, pleasant, and patient-focused demeanor  Comfortable traveling between offices and adapting to different clinical environments  Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software preferred    Join a Team Where Your Flexibility and Skill Make a Difference If you’re ready to expand your experience, work in modern Manhattan practices, and be part of a team that values professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
