Dental Sterilization Technician

Our growing dental office is looking for a dental sterile tech who has a focus on patient care and customer service, who is passionate about what they do , detailed oriented and skilled. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn the trade, and is willing to step in to help where is needed when we are short-staffed. At our dental office, we specialize in creating smiles that light up rooms and warm hearts. From enhancing beauty through cosmetic dentistry to nurturing well-being in family dentistry. We are not a high volume, high turnover office. We are patient centric office. Our practice model allows for concierge service and exclusive one on one time with the doctor and the hygienist. We are a small team who helps one another where ever it is needed. Gather patient health histories. Accurate dental charting. Educate and review dental treatment with patients Breakdown/set up rooms Sterilization Preparation of dental materials, cements, composites, impression materials, etc. Take dental x-rays (must be licensed in Pennsylvania) Keep all rooms stocked Help Front Desk with answering phone calls and checking patients in/out when needed. Scan patients for lab cases Keep track of all lab cases Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and external contacts. - Proficient in using phone systems and computer softwares. - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Open Dental software experience preferred but not required Our hours of operation are: Monday - Thursday schedule with Friday's as needed. Monday - 8:30am-6pm Tuesday - 7:45am-5pm Wednesday - 7am-3pm Thursday - 9am-6pm We look forward to hearing from you!
