Project Manager - Concrete Forming Solutions (CFS)
OverviewUFP Concrete Forming Solutions is the leading supplier of lumber, plywood and value-add, custom formwork solutions to the concrete construction industry.The Project Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful execution of concrete formwork projects—from contract award through final closeout. This position ensures every project meets customer expectations while delivering on operational excellence, financial performance, and schedule commitments. As the central point of communication between customers and internal teams—including Sales, Design/Estimating, and Operations—you will lead the coordination of design, fabrication, delivery, and field support to ensure seamless project success.Location: Thornton (or within 50 miles)Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage projects end-to-end, coordinating across Sales, Design, Estimating, Purchasing, Production, Delivery, and Field Support.Develop and manage critical project timelines; obtain customer approval and track progress through completion and customer satisfaction.Lead project kickoff and ongoing communication to confirm scope, dates, constraints, and formwork requirements (rental vs. sale, CNC/custom needs, architectural features, pour breaks, etc.).Review and approve formwork design/detail drawings prior to release; support internal technical reviews and customer approval cycles.Actively manage project-related inventory and equipment availability; collaborate with Operations and Rental leadership as needed.Monitor production progress, labor and cost alignment, and quality expectations; conduct regular plant visits and work-in-progress reviews.Coordinate shipping and jobsite delivery logistics; support initial deliveries and resolve schedule changes (weather, crane time, jobsite delays).Provide jobsite support as needed to ensure crews understand how to read UFP drawings and properly use formwork systems; document changes and ensure scope changes are captured and billed appropriately.Coordinate returns and closeouts for rental fleets, including damage/cleaning discussions and final billing support.Prepare post-project recaps for larger projects, including customer experience, operational feedback, and opportunities for improvement.Required3+ years of experience in project management, construction operations, formwork, or a related discipline.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and coordinate work across multiple functions.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong communication skills with internal teams and external customers.PreferredFormwork background (field, operations, design, estimating, or project coordination).Experience supporting large civil or commercial projects (e.g., bridges, water/wastewater, high-rise, data centers, parking structures).Knowledge of concrete forming systems including shoring, gangs/walls, columns, platforms, and CNC/custom formwork solutions.Familiarity with UFP processes, systems, or product lines.Work Environment & TravelOccasional to frequent travel to plants and jobsites based on project needs.Career PathThis role offers a clear advancement path to Project Manager II and broader leadership opportunities within Design/Estimating/Project Management.Salary Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually dependent on experience*Bonus/Incentive PayAnnual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.Benefits Currently Offered To Our EmployeesMedical insuranceHealth savings account with company contributionDental insuranceVision insuranceBasic and voluntary life insuranceDisability insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysStock purchase program with employee discountEducational reimbursementWellness programs and challengesOther supplemental benefitThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.J-18808-Ljbffr
