Play Space Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Play Space Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant play area designed for children of various ages. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and have fun. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the play space, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children of all abilities Lead and motivate staff members, providing training on safety protocols, child engagement techniques, and behavior management strategies Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Monitor adherence to health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards Collaborate with parents and caregivers to address individual needs and provide updates on children's participation and progress Maintain detailed records of attendance, incidents, safety checks, and activity schedules Coordinate with team members to organize special events or themed activities that enhance the play experience Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or early childhood education environments Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare management Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable Experience with classroom management, behavior management techniques, and caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive attitude and fostering teamwork Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners Physical ability to supervise active play areas, including standing for extended periods and assisting children as needed Join us as a Play Space Manager to inspire joyful learning experiences while ensuring safety and inclusivity.
