This role involves working with modern cloud data platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure data pipelines.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, cloud technologies, and financial data processes, with a focus on building scalable architectures and ensuring data accuracy across systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable data architectures and dimensional models (star/snowflake schemas) for financial reportingBuild, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processingDevelop and manage data services, APIs, and integrations with downstream systemsImplement data quality frameworks, validation checks, and reconciliation processesOptimize SQL queries and data performance within Snowflake environmentsEnsure data security, governance, and compliance with industry standardsCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholdersMonitor, troubleshoot, and support production data pipelinesRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in data engineeringStrong programming skills in PythonAdvanced expertise in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)Hands-on experience with Snowflake and data warehousing conceptsExperience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch)Proven experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelinesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git)Strong understanding of data security and governance practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming)Knowledge of Docker and KubernetesExperience with data quality tools (Great Expectations, Soda, etc.)Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle FinancialsUnderstanding of financial processes (R2R, O2C, P2P)EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMaster’s degree preferred
